Unicodes were tasked to come up with a concept app that was to be developed over a period of 18 weeks. Unicodes decided to take the opportunity to tackle the problem of the increasing number of people diagnosed with dementia as a result of the ageing population in Singapore.

The team came up with the Refresh app, an application that aims to help dementia patients gain independence. Refresh is also a platform for patients family or caretaker to care for them.
 

The app features two user interfaces, patient & non-patient. The patient interface has features such as games, photo diary, reminder functions, camera and a profile page. The non-patient has features such as a patient link function, SOS feature, profile page and an information page.

For this project, I contributed to the user research & user experience of Refresh app. I designed the user personas, a day in the life timelines and user journeys.
